Mechanical machining of teeth

Co.m.ar.p performs a diversified and versatile production of high quality gears. We carry out mechanical machining of teeth on ferrous, non-ferrous and plastic materials.

Co.m.ar.p specializes in the manufacture of mechanical toothing on all types of components such as bevel gears, helical gears and gear wheels. It makes toothing of cylindrical gears with straight teeth and helical teeth, for chain, bevel with straight teeth. It carries out toothing, broaching and slotting processes to satisfy every type of customer request. Grooved shafts and Broached parts, involute adjustments are made.

Our gears are produced in complete supply and are used by the petrochemical sector up to the food industry, where by shaving we can guarantee a significant reduction of the rolling noise between the gears.

In particular, we can carry out:

  • Gear hobbing of straight and helical toothed cylindrical gears from Module 0,25 mm up to Module 10 mm; 
  • Teething of crown and worm screw pairs;
  • Realization of splined shafts with UNI 221 and DIN 5480, DIN 5481, DIN 5482 teeth;
  • Execution of pinions and crowns for chains;
  • Toothed bevel gears with straight teeth;
  • Slotting knife of external and internal gears. We also have a CAMS slotting machine for making keyways in a blind hole;
  • Gear shaving. Elimination of imperfections on the tooth during the toothing phase by using a specular knife to the tooth to be shaved;
  • Adjustments of involutes.

The advantage for the Customer is that they have a single interlocutor for all the work performed.

Co.m.ar.p in its arrangement are the modern fully automatic gear cutting machines made in different sizes for series production which can range from the smallest gear for instrumentation to large gear wheels.

These machines cut the toothed wheels by envelope through a generation motion analogous to that which occurs between two elements that mesh, in which one is represented in this case by the tool.
